One Joke
I heard this joke from a radio station a long time ago. I still find it is funny.
Sometime in the late night, there was this man just got back from his business out of town. He didn’t have any other choice than to take a cab to bring him home. After got into a cab, he tried to pull off some conversation to show some manner.
"You’ve been driving a cab for long, sir?" the businessman said. "Of course. Driving a cab is a job that runs in the family. My grandfather, my uncle, my father, even my little brother, they’re all taxi drivers. So, don’t you worry, just sit back and relax!" the driver replied.
In the middle of the way to home, the driver just passed a red light sign. The businessman shouted, " Whoooaaa…. Did you know you just pass a red light, or you just didn’t see that?". The taxi driver again replied, "Don’t you worry, just sit back and relax! I’m an experienced driver. Driving a cab is a job that runs in the family. My grandfather, my uncle, my father, even my little brother, they’re all taxi drivers."
Another red light sign was passed again and the businessman worried about his safety and yelled, "Are you trying to kill us both?" The driver lightly responded, "Don’t you worry, just sit back and relax! I’m an experienced driver. Driving a cab is a job that runs in the family. My grandfather, my uncle, my father, even my little brother, they’re all taxi drivers."
Reached the final intersection near the businessman home, the traffic light was showing green. He relieved that finally he’d be home safe. But then, the taxi driver stopped the cab suddenly right in front of the green-lighted junction. The businessman shouted again, "Are you carzy? Why are we stopping in the green light? You seemed ok to pass the red light." The driver smile and said, "I’m afraid that my grandfather, my uncle, my father, or my little brother will pass the red light from the other side."
