Quoted

Friday, July 21st, 2006

In the middle of these summer work days, a friend started doing one silly thing. He tried to google his own name and found out few results. Then, I also tried to google mine also. I was surprised that I found my name in a seminar proceeding. Then I traced the proceeding, even it was not easy to view. I had to download the whole proceeding. After careful read, there is this technical report that was submitted by a friend of mine from back then when I had an internship. He quoted few paragraphs from my bachelor thesis.

I really felt glad yet embarrased since something that I wrote years ago is mean something for him. When I wrote the thesis about 4 years ago, I just felt want to report something. There was no intention to be given such appreciation. It really meant much for me. Maybe the next writings I made, I should write more carefully. Thanks to all my friends in LAGG-Puspiptek Serpong for the appreciation.

Assembling The Army

Dscf0481 Last Tuesday, I called my friend challenge to join in the craziest concert ever, KISS concert. In the high school time, I listened to this rock n roll band. Not many friends of mine in the high school listened to their music. So, I was considered having weird sense of music at that time. Gladly, I met many people of my kind here…. heee

The concert started at 7 pm, but my friend planned to have a dress code preparation at 1 pm. I can not join him to get prepared cause my supervisor wouldn’t let me left the lab seminar. Then it’s OK for me to go by myself to the concert.

When I arrived at the concert hall, the line of KISS Army already assemble in front of the entrance. They were all really prepared. I was amazed by the fans enthusiasm, compare to the other two concerts I saw before.

The show also was great. My seat was perfect, just 17 rows behind the stage. I started to think 17 is my lucky number since I also got 17 for my student ID number in the college.

After the show, my KISS Army friend asked me to have a KISS Army dinner somewhere near the Kanayama station. And, we really had a great KISS Army night then.

So, SHOUT IT OUT LOUD …..

The silly, quick, and sarcastic dialogue is never lost from my interest in watching a movie. This week I am in to the Gilmore Girls Series. The 3rd season was already finish watched though it has been broadcasted on the TV, but It’s worth to rewatch.

I am getting positive to catch another concert this month. Thanks to my Associate Professor that moved this month seminar schedules to earlier morning time so I have just enough time in the afternoon to go watch the concert.

Hmmm… tonight I called her. It’s nice to hear your voice, hope you’ll okay. The secret is safe with me, I guess…. heeee
